Volunteering
You can help JCD by working from home or from our north London offices. Whether you are retired and have some spare time on your hands, or a student looking to improve your CV, volunteering for JCD is a worthwhile and rewarding experience. JCD receives no government funding so we rely totally on the generosity of the community. That doesn't end with financial generosity, it is also extends to generosity with your time.
JCD currently has the following volunteer vacancies:
Web and New/Social Media Intern
Internship suitable for either a graduate or someone with goods social media skills, wanting to gain experience within a charity. Position would also involve helping out with admin/fundraising.
Location: Finchley
Hours required: 5- 12 hrs per week
Chatty/Friendly Collection Box Distributors/Collectors
Chatty/Friendly people needed to help distribute and collect JCD charity boxes
Location: N. London
Hours required: various
Ambassadors
We are looking for people to act as ambassadors for our charity, primarily within their own synagogue community. Full training will be given so that you will have the knowledge to promote our charity.
