JCD in the running
JCD was well represented in the Community Fun Run this year with ten participants raising over £1000. It was a fantastic day with over 1,000 runners taking part in either the 1k,5k or 10k course.
Mike Fierstone, who raised £750 for JCD, said, "I love to run the extra mile for JCD, they're great people to raise money for."
£235 was rasied by Avner Radomsky and one of the youngest to run for JCD, 3 year old Ariella Braun, did fantastically well by raising £105. Ariella is now an old hand at the fun run having run last year aswell.
All the money raised for JCD will go towards helping the most needy kids in Israel, Eastern Europe and here in the UK.
The Community Fun Run seems to go from strength to strength - why not use it as an excuse to get into shape and join us next year for what promises to be an even more fun and rewarding day.
